Cheung Wing Lin is the Non-Executive Chairman of our Group, and joined as a director of our Hong Kong subsidiary, Kam Wai, in February 2003. Since then, he has been involoved in developing the overall strategic directions of our Group including our business strategies and policies. Since 1999, Cheung Wing Lin has been the general manager of South Africa Pan-ocean Enterprise Limited Company which is involved in the trading of various products, including textiles, garments, shoes and wine, where he is in charge of its overall management and operations. Since 1995, he has been the legal representative of Shishishi Xin Li Rubber Shoes Co., Ltd. From 1991 to 1995, he was the manager of Jiaming Development Co., Ltd, in charge of the sales and marketing of chemical raw materials in the PRC. He completed his education up to high school level in the PRC and was previously appointed as the Vice President of the All Africa Peaceful Reunification of China Association, the Vice President of the Southern Africa Industrial & Commercial Association of the PRC and the Vice President of the Fujian Overseas Chinese Association in Africa.

Huang Zhong Xuan is our CEO and Executive Director, and one of our founders. He is instrumental in our growth and development, as well as formulating and implementing our business strategies and development plans. He also oversees the overall management and operational aspects of our Group, as well as the business development of our Group. He has over 10 years of management and operational experience in companies that were involved in the chemical fibre, garment and textile industries. Prior to the establishment of our Group, Huang Zhong Xuan was the general manager and sales director of Xiamen Tongrun Industrial Trading Limited Company from 1999 to 2001, and from 1995 to 1998, he was general manager and sales director of Jinjiang Hengshun Umbrella Limited Company. Between 1991 to 1994, Huang Zhong Xuan was sales director of Jinjiang Xielong Textile Limited Company. He has completed a course through which he will be awarded a Master degree of Business Administration by the Hong Kong International Business College.

Song Jian Sheng is our Executive Director (Production, Research and Development) and joined our Group in 2002. He is in charge of the technical and engineering aspects of our production facility, quality control and assurance, as well as our Research and Development Department. From 1984 to 1992, he was working in the Shanxi Chemical Fibre Research Institute where he rose through the ranks, starting as a research assistant, to become the Head of the Shanxi Chemical Fibre Research Institute. From 1993 to 1997, he then joined Xin Lun Chemical Fibre Engineering Company located in Shenzhen, the PRC as the manager in charge of chemical fibre production and the chief engineer. He was subsequently the plant director of Long Da Chemical Fibre Company, located in Shanxi, the PRC from 1998 until he joined our Group in 2002. He has published various articles in journals such as “Shanxi Chemicals”, “Shanxi Chemical Fibre” and the “China Chemical Fibres Technology Conference” regarding chemical fibres or their production techniques. In January 2005, he was included in the “Who’s Who of Chinese Experts”. He is a graduate of the Taiyuan Polytechnic University in 1984, majoring in high molecule science.

Wang Zhi Wei is our Non-Executive Director and joined as a director of our subsidiary, Tianyu, in 2002. In 1991, he started his career as a clerk in a machinery company, Jiangxi Xinghuo Machinery Company. From 1993 to 1995, he was the Deputy Plant Director of a machinery company, Xiamen Huihuang Machinery Company. Since 1996, he is the manager of Xiamen Shenjiang Trading Company, an import and export company, handling the sales and marketing of chemical raw materials for use in different industries. As a director of our subsidiary, Tianyu, Wang Zhi Wei has been contributing to our access to and strategic analysis of market trends and industry information.

Er Kwong Wah was appointed as an Independent Director of our Company on 2 August 2005. Er Kwong Wah is currently an Executive Director of East Asia School of Business. He has served in the Singapore government civil service for 27 years including the Public Service Commission and various ministries such as the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Community Development. Er Kwong Wah was the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education from 1987 to 1994, then became the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Community Development until he retired in 1998. Er Kwong Wah had previously held a number of public sector appointments, including the Council Member of the National University of Singapore, a board member of both the Singapore Polytechnic and Ngee Ann Polytechnic. He had previously also served as Deputy Chairman of the Singapore Sports Council, and chairman and director of various Singapore government-linked companies. Er Kwong Wah is the chairman of the Toa Payoh Central Citizens’ Consultative Committee and a member of the Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council. Currently, Er Kwong Wah is a governor of United World College of South East Asia, and a board member of the National Environment Agency. He graduated from the University of Toronto in 1970 with a first class honours degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1978, Er Kwong Wah obtained an MBA from the Manchester Business School, University of Manchester.

Lai Seng Kwoon was appointed as Independent Director of our Company on 2 August 2005. He is currently practising under the name and style of S K Lai & Co., which he founded in 1998. He has about 25 years of extensive and varied experience in accounting, tax and financial matters and had previously worked with KPMG in Singapore and in the United States before he set up his own practice. Prior to founding S K Lai & Co., he was a partner with a local accounting firm from 1994 to 1998, and was working in the accounting firm, KPMG Singapore, from 1979 to 1994. He is a Fellow with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom, and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
